Growing up, I couldn’t wait until I turned 16 so I could accompany my mother on her trips to New York City for the National Stationery Show. Every year she would travel to The Big Apple for the show and fascinate me with wonderful stories upon her return. I grew up around the stationery business. When I attended college I majored in English and art, both of have which have served me well in the business.

After the birth of my daughter in 1980 I decided to hang my own shingle, and that’s how Joan Green’s Pretty Print began. My business buzzes with fun and pleasant meetings mixed with the newest facets of the paper industry. Over the years, I have been privledged to be a part of many families' life cycle events. It has been a real thrill to design a Bar or Bat Mitzvah or Communion invitation and later a wedding invitation….and finally a birth announcement all for the same family! I treasure the trust people have placed in me, and I enjoy it more and more every year.
